We do not currently repair Android tablets, but by the messages we get, most problems seem to be that the tablets people have problems with stop booting up....so we decided to help and put some Android firmware on here which can be used to completely re-boot your tablet. This will work with the WM8650 Android tablets. Please do this at your own discretion and do not come back to us for any other questions or help because we do not get involved in the Android tablet repair. Our own tablet's warranty is with the UK distributor (who are very good by the way). We have just added a discussion board on here (entry through link below) so people can chat about anything tablet related. These discussion boards are a good source of help and advice. I hope we have been of some help to anyone....if we have helped 1 person, then we are happy!

Instructions to re-install firmware on a WM8650 Android tablet:
You will need an SD card (usually a micro SD card), many people will have one with the Tablet. If there are any films, music, pics etc that you want to keep, save it all now on your PC. Once saved, you will need to format the SD card (FAT32)....the rest of the instructions to repair an Android tablet are in one of the files below. Download BOTH files. Make a new folder somewhere on your PC (anywhere you will find it easily) and call it what you like....you need to open the 2 files you have just downloaded below and get the contents and put it ALL into the new folder you have just created. You now have the whole set of files. Open the Instructions and follow (the files below are split because of filesize restrictions).
It's been bought to our attention that the above ROM is outdated, and you may find more updated ROMs here>>>>
Following a search for a customers' tablet, here is a solution for the StealthX Hydro Tablet™ 10.2"
Check which model you have “2nc / 3nc / 3a” on the stick at the side of your tablet.
Download the relevant firmware (on the right) to your PC and unpack the folder using a zip program (winzip/winrar) > then copy the folder “zt-update” directly to a micro sd card (note you need to copy the folder, not its contents, so that your tablet can see the folder named “zt-update”.
Note do not copy the firmware folder to your tablets internal drive as this is your tablets internal memory and should not be written here.
Preferably, you should copy the firmware files to your micro sd card using a different device such as a card reader/phone/camera so that there is no mix up.
Plug the power lead into your tablet > insert your micro SD card with the firmware on it, into your tablet > then hold down the "camera" button and turn on your tablet > The firmware should start updating.
Once its finished it will restart your tablet.
Essentially its - copy the firmware folder to a micro sd card > insert it into your tablet > then turn it on whilst holding the "camera" button. It should only take about 3 minutes to do.
