unlike many other companies who sell refurbished Laptops...we really DO refurbish them. Every Laptop is completely stripped down and cleaned internally of dust. Dust is the biggest killer of Laptops. If your Laptop isn't cleaned internally every few years, you run the risk of overheating due to the fact that dust builds up inside - not allowing cooled air from the fan to cool the heat-sink (copper metal fins - works much like a car radiator). If this happens, your Laptop will first of all keep shutting down for no apparent reason (you might feel it getting hot underneath), then eventually it won't start at all, which may indicate a VGA chip failure (graphics card, due to excessive heat). So why take chances buying from someone else who may well not have done this very important procedure? It's a long job but we believe it to be necessary.Another thing we do is run full diagnostics on the RAM and Hard drive. If anything is found to be faulty it is replaced. In fact, all refurbished Laptops are working as good as the day they were first turned on..and sometimes even better!
